Dietetic TechnicianThe Role at a Glance: We are looking to add a dietetic technician to our correctional facility kitchen team in Cleveland, OH. As a dietetic technician, you will have the opportunity to provide allergen, food safety, and wellness support on-site by collaborating with operations leaders, corporate dietitians, and staff in the foodservice department to ensure menus and food service programs meet the requirements of contract or regulatory programs.What You'll Be Doing:Plan and design menus keeping in mind dietary restrictionsPrepare meals, devise food programs; offer advice on good eating habits and meal planning; monitor, supervise and record the nutritional condition and requirements of the patientsEvaluate menus and recipes; preserve records of the patients' nutritional status and dietary progress; and help with researchWhat We're Looking For:2 year Associate's degree from a program backed by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA)Passed a national examination held by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) to get the certificate of a Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR)1 years' experience in food and nutrition sciences, medical terminology, food-service systems management and nutritional and management counselingCompensation Range $22.00 per hour - weekly payOur Benefits:Medical (FT Employees)DentalVisionVoluntary UNUM offering for Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital IndemnityDiscount ProgramCommuter Benefits (Parking and Transit)EAP401kSick TimeHoliday Pay (9 paid holidays)Tuition Reimbursement (FT Employees)Paid Time OffAbout Summit: Focused on serving correctional institutions, Summit ensures that incarcerated people across the United States have access to delicious, healthy food at each meal.
