The newly renovated Emergency Department is designed for speed, safety, and enhanced patient flow. The Emergency Division includes seven distinct patient care centers to include:
Urgent Care Center
Chest Pain Evaluation Center
Emergent Care Center
Level II Trauma Center
Pediatric Emergency Center
Rapid Evaluation Unit (REU)
Observation Center

Responsibilities:
· As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
· Utilize clinical reasoning which includes clinical decision making, utilization of resources, synthesis thinking coupled with nursing skills acquired through a process of situational learning and evidence-based practice.
· Involve and incorporate input from multiple sources to benefit family and community.
· Address individual and collective intellectual and psychomotor needs.
